Hey Crafty Friends,

Happy Spring!!

I can't believe it is almost the end of March already?!?  I always think of March as Dr. Seuss Month so I wanted to create a Scrapbook border I could put on a page later. For this border, I used Cutie Katoodles-Clever Cat & Coffee & Sunshine Bear

 file from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

I wanted the border to be fun like the Dr. Seuss books, so I decided  to balance a few items on his tail and on his head. I thought it'd be cute too if it looked like he was reading a story and it went well with the title that I came up with. Then I got sparkly happy and added a few sparkly touches. : )

DS Babies Valentine

Hello Doodle Bugs! DT Amber here and it's been awhile since I've posted but I couldn't resist these cuties. I only used two on this project but there is 6 to choose from in this bundle!

I printed these on a flesh tone colored paper and then colored the elements.

Valentine's Day Piggie Pillow Box

Hey Crafty Friends,

I hope you all are having a spectacular week!! Are you ready for the weekend?? Do you have big plans?? I really need to organize my craft desk this weekend. A messy crafter is a creative crafter right?!?! HaHa

Today, I want to show you a Valentine's Day Treat Pig treat box. For this treat box, I used Cutie Katoodles-Girl Piggie

 file from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

For my project, I wanted to use the girl piggy and thought it'd be cute to make a pillow box container with Hershey's Kisses inside. I got the idea from Pinterest, but I wanted a pillow box that you could see the treats inside. I found a file over on SVG Cutting files that was perfect because the cut out was in the shape of a heart. So, I thought that Hogs & Kisses would be the perfect sentiment for the pillow box, but I don't have a Hogs and Kisses stamp. So I just picked a font and welded it together and used my Cricut to write it out on a tag. Then I used my new Prismacolor Pencils to color in the sentiment. The pillow box turned out WAY bigger than I anticipated and almost fit a full bag of Hershey's kisses inside. HaHa

Hot Cocoa Bear Card

Hey Crafty Friends,

Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a fun Christmas and New Year's Eve with your family and friends!! 

It's been so cold where I live lately, that you just want to hibernate and not go anywhere. I finally got the chance to get in my crafty space and design a super cute card. I used the weather outside as inspiration for this particular card. For this card, I used Cutie Katoodles-Winter Hot Cocoa Bear

 file from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

 I wanted the card to be winter themed, so when I saw the Polar Bear with the hat and scarf I thought it would be perfect. I used a Cricut file for the Hot Chocolate Mug and sparkled it up with Wink of Stella. I wanted it to be taller with whip cream and sprinkles on top. I also added the super cute marshmallows from the Kadoodle Bug Designs file. To finish off the look I made some sparkly snowflakes using another Kadoodle Bug Designs file.

Reindeer Gift Card Holder

Hey Kadoodle Bug Fans,

Good Evening Everyone!! I hope you are having a fantastic night. It's getting cold here so that means hot chocolate and Christmas Movies!! Yay! : )

Have you been watching Christmas movies and crafting?? I don't know about you but the cold weather makes you just want to get crafty. Tonight, I want to show you a Christmas gift card holder I made. For this gift card holder, I used Cutie Katoodles Rudy

 I just adore this cute little Reindeer file from Kadoodle Bug Designs. I wanted to use Rudy to create a gift card holder. I had to do some adjustments along the way to make it work but eventually I got it where it functioned as it's supposed to. A gift card will fit inside either upright or sitting sideways.

Christmas Cat or Dog

Hello Doodle Bugs! DT Amber here to show you all some fun Christmas cards I made or this year. The two files from KBD I used are CK Pugs and Kisses

and CK Kitty Cat.

 

 

I uses patterned paper to make the candy bar look like a present.

I found a Santa Hat in design space and welded it to the background file.

I used a die from Anna Griffins line of auto-ship cutting dies.

Snowman Ornament

Hello Doodle Bugs. DT Amber on the blog today to share this awesome file for your winter holiday. 

Snowman Ornament 

Instead of doing the just circle eyes I added the googly eyes in stead. Added some lines to the carrot nose and scrapbook paper for the scarf. Glittered paper for the "topper" I made these for some special people in my life.

Glitter card is perfect for Christmas - I used it for the hat, wreath & bow and it sparkles amazingly in the light!

DS CK Give Thanks Turkey and DS CK Turkey

Hello there doodle bugs! DT Amber here and wanted to share these cuties. 

 

Since my in-laws moved in I haven't been able to get at my Halloween/Autumn decorations so I thought well why not make some new things. 

 

So first off I started with this one: DS CK Give Thanks Turkey

 

 I added the orange strip behind to make the words stand out. I colored it using just regular colored pencils. 

Since we have so many cabinets I thought I could make things really festive by having everyone color their own turkey. Plus it shows how everyone is different.

So I printed out 6 of the DS CK Turkey file.

This is a great way to spend time with each other.

Horse Birthday Card

Hey Deer Friends,

Good Evening Everyone!! I'd like to take a moment to thank all the Veterans who have served our Country for their service!!! 

Have you been crafting and making any projects lately?? The colder weather makes you want to watch a good Hallmark Christmas Movie and get crafty! Or maybe that's just me. ; ) Tonight, I want to show a birthday card I made for my nieces birthday. For this card, I used Cutie Katoodles Horse

 My niece loves horses and her favorite color is purple, so I wanted the card to include both. I had asked her over the summer what kind of birthday card she wanted and she said horse so that's why I went with that. Her Mom and Stepdad got her horseback riding lessons for her birthday and boy is she excited. Today was her first lesson and she did great.
