Fall Scrapbook Page

Hey Kadoodle Bug Fans,

Happy September!! I hope you enjoyed the 3 day weekend if you had it off.  Fall is right around the corner. I don't know what the weather is like where you're living, but the past few weeks our temps have been feeling like Fall. So with Fall being around the corner I decided to make a Fall scrapbook page.

To create this Fall layout, I used a combination of some files
Happy Fall Y'allWoodland FoxesColor Me Cute & Cutie Katoodles Sailor Doggie from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

As I mentioned last week, on my previous post that my sister thinks I'm a photographer. She had me take fall pictures of her family a few years ago and they all were wearing red and black plaid flannel shirts. So I wanted to make a Fall Scrapbook page that incorporated the fall colors and the colors that they were wearing in the photos.

To create this layout, I used the stump in the Woodland Fox files and then I put the Bears on the stump with their backs to each other. My nieces actually did a pose like this for me when I was taking pictures, so I wanted to recreate that with the bears. I used the bears from the Color me Cute file, but I put on them the outfit from the Happy Fall Y'all file. Then I wanted to put a puppy in the layout, so I used the cute puppy from the CK Sailor Doggie File.

I've been super obsessed with plaid for the last year. I think it all started when I was Christmas shopping for my Sister In Laws Christmas gift. She wanted a plaid blanket, so around then I just became obsessed with that plaid look. So for a while I had wanted the My Favorite things plaid background builder stamp, but I just couldn't bring myself to purchase it because it was pretty pricey to me. Then Simon Says Stamp had a Customer Appreciation coupon they put out for $10.00 off, so I hopped on their website and got that stamp set. The first time I used that stamp set was on the bears shirts to give them the plaid flannel look. I just loved it!! I think I'll be using it lots more in the future so keep an eye out for it.

I hope you enjoyed this Fall Layout as much as I did.  : )

"You're the Pumpkin Spice to my Latte!

Hello KaDoodle Bugs!! DT Jana stopping in this morning to share a quick card I created using the "Fall Pumpkin Treats" file.  I LOVE a great Latte, but I especially LOVE when the Fall Season begins and you can go just about anywhere and find everything Pumpkin flavored...Yum, Yum, Yum!!!  I saw this file and knew that I just had to create my own kind of Pumpkin Spice Latte.

I started off by uploading the file to Cricut Design Space, re-sized my image accordingly and then cut out all of the pieces using Bazzill Card Stock.  I then inked each piece using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and adhered them together using Art Glitter Glue. To finish off my paper piecing, I used a white gel pen to add some highlights.

My A2 sized card base was created using ReCollections 110lb. Ivory Cardstock. The patterned paper used is from ReCollections Harvest Delight Paper Pad. My sentiment, "You're the Pumpkin spice to my Latte!", was written with the "Be Mine" font from Cricut Design Space using both the Adobe Clay and Moccasin Cricut Pens.  To finish off my card, I added some sequins from Hero Arts and ReCollections.

Below is a complete list of the products and supplies used to create this card:

Love Nicole - Autumn Splendor 6x6 Paper Pad

Harvest Happiness | Jessi from My Life in Arts n' Crafts

Hey everyone Jessi here from My Life in Arts n’ Crafts, I am sharing a fall card with you all, sorry it’s not the best pictures late night after dealing with a crazy neighbor and my super upset dog.

*****All Products Are Linked to help you find them on the web :) *****

The cute little squirrel is from Cutie KaToodles Nut'n Better Than Fall

I used several of the colors from the enchantment pack as well as cashmere, white daisy, black, whisper, and crystal blue cardstock. The acorn from “Harvest Happiness” as well as the sentiment is perfect for any fall card. The acorn cuts perfectly with the Close to my Heart exclusive cartridge ArtPhilosophy, and this cartridge actually comes with the Enchantment cardstock pack!. The frame for my sentiment is cut with the Artiste Cartridge fromClose to my Heart. The frame is in the October stamp of the month, which you can get for $5.00, yeah, that’s right only 5 bucks. I used watercolor pencils and a blender pen to doodle up the eyes on this cute squirrel. I also used a white gel pen, and micron pens in 01, and 03.  My pattern paper is from Lori Whitlock's Story of Fall 6 by 6 pad.  I also used a Clear and Brown Wink of Stella brush pens for adding little glitter. To ink up my pieces I decided to use my ebrush. I used my spectrum noir markers, the colors I used are, IB3, GG4, GG2, EB8, IG2, DR5, TN3, DG4, TN5, EB3. I also used Chocolate and Ruby ink from Close to my Heart.
The adhesive I choose to use was Liquid Glass, but I have mine in a Fine Line Applicator Bottle.

I hope everyone is enjoying the first official day of back to school! I know I know some kids have been in school for weeks, our schools here are all officially back in session as of today.
For todays project I wanted something kind of simple!
I used the Caramel Apple Goat which you can get for $.50 yes 50 cents!!!!
We have 4 goats so I knew I wanted to make something with this cutie!

I used a stamp set that corresponds with the new Artistry Cartridge which you can also get on my Close to my heart shop.
