Love You to Pizza's Valentine's Card

Happy Sunday Doodle Bugs,

Have you ever been in a position that you need to create a card fast and don't have time to cut all the pieces of the file out, ink them and put them all together.   Well that's one nice thing about the KBD because the files you purchase or get from the "Freebie of the Week", you not only get a SVG file but you also get jpg files of all the images which you can print and then cut them out fairly easily and quickly

I was in that position last week.  I was crazy busy at work so when I get home I was just too tired to spend a lot of time on making a Valentine's Day card for my hubby.   I knew I had to use the KBD Love you to Pizza's file because we both love pizza and almost have it once a week.

So I used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the adorable pizza and title from this file.

To use the jpg, I open it in my Silhouette Design Studio software, trace it using the tracing tool and then crop it to remove the white background.   I then offset it to put a little white border around the image select to cut that offset line, group the image and the offset line.  I then changing my cutting format to Print and Cut and print on my printer.  After it prints, I put it on my mat and cut it out on my Cameo.

I accented him with white Gelly Roll pen and I accented the title with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen.    Used a deep red card stock for the base of the card, stripped paper for the mat and used a die cut to cut out the polka dotted mat.   Added the title and pizza and I was done.

Easy Peasy and here is my finished card.

Oh and I had to put him on an Action Wobble.
Had to make it dance with happy love.

Hubby got a chuckle out of this card and I hope you did too.

Ohh before I forget, today is the last day of the fabulous Valentine's Day sale.
Everything is a $1.00 but you can get extra savings the more you spend and Melissa has added tons of cute new files that you can easily fill up your shopping cart with.

Valentine's Love Duck

Hello KaDoodle Bugs!!! DT Jana stopping by to share another quick Valentine's Day card I whipped up using the super adorable Cutie KaToodles Valentine Duck. Isn't he just the sweetest!?!?!

I started by uploading the CK Valentine Duck SVG file to Design Space, resized it accordingly and then cut out each piece using my Cricut Explore.

I then inked up all my pieces using Tim Holtz Distress Inks (scattered straw, cracked pistachio, rusty hinge, picked raspberry and spun sugar). I then adhered them together using Art Glitter Glue. To finish off my "Love Duck" I added highlights using a White Gelly Roll Pen.

I created my card base using 110 lb. ReCollections Ivory cardstock cut down and scored to an A2 card size. I then chose my patterned paper for the card mat from ReCollections Valentine's Day 6x6 Paper Pad. I cut the mat down to 4" x 5.25" and decided to use my Fiskars "Lace" corner punch on it to add a little interest.

I then adhered my mat to the card base and adhered my Valentine Duck in the center. To finish off the card, I added three different sized matte sprinkles from the Doodlebug Designs Inc. Spring Assortment pack.

I hope you enjoyed today's creation! Thanks for stopping by!!
