Get Your Pie On Box Card

Hi! Today I am sharing a cute little box card using the Print Then Cut feature on my Cricut Explore and the JPEG files from the following patterns from KaDoodle Bug Designs:

     Get Your Pie On
     Pumpkin Cookie Moose
     Pumpkin Moose Peeker.

You will also need the following supplies:

     Box card pattern
Doodlebug Paper "Punkin Party" and sturdy orange cardstock
     Pop dots or foam tape
Adhesives - double stick tape, clear liquid glue and/or glue tape runner
Optional extra embellishments ( mine are from Cricut's "Enjoy the Seasons" )
Sturdy clear plastic ( mine came from an old cricut cartridge wrapper )

First, I printed and cut out all of my pieces. The box card is 7 inches tall cut from the orange cardstock, and the panels are cut from the Doodlebug paper. The box was put together with double stick tape and the panels were attached with a tape runner and a little liquid glue. The pumpkin print was used on the flaps and the green dot pattern was used on the bottom sections of the box. The interior braces were made and attached as shown.

The Print Then Cut moose range in size from 2 1/2 inches ( Pumpkin Moose Peekers and sitting moose from Get Your Pie On ) to 3 1/2 inches. I cut two of each and cut the second copy of each image apart so I could layer them using pop dots, to give each moose some dimension.

I cut a 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch strip of clear plastic from an old cricut cartridge wrapper, and attached each with glue tape runner to the bottom of each moose that was to be used for the inside the card. The moose were then attached to the braces in a staggered fashion.

The card can be folded flat for mailing.

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thanks for looking! ~ DT Shirley
