Fruit Cards

Cutesy Fruit Cards

DT Angie on the blog today and I have to say this week I was having a hard time choosing what my next project was out of all of the amazing files that KaDoodle Bug Designs have, so I asked my daughter to go through the files and find one she wanted me to use for my next posting. She chose the cutesy fruit file:

http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=1561

I was a little nervous because I still wasnt 100% sure on what I wanted to do, but once I saw the watermelon in this file I knew what I was going to do. I might choose to have my daughter pick out more files since she seems to be sooo good at it.

Below are the pictures of what I made from the file, I am in love with this and may have to make a whole bunch more and mail them out to some of my friends. For the base of the watermelon I used pink with white polka dot paper and then a lime green and dark green for the rind. I then used my stamps in dark green to add the gradient look on the rind. For the background paper I actually had some fruit paper in my craft room from a good deal at Michaels Craft Store so I did get to put that to good use! Hope you enjoy!

Pugs N Kisses Magnetic Photo Frame

Good Evening Kadoodle Bugs,

I hope you guys are having a great night!! Design Team Amanda here stopping by to share some cute magnetic photo frames I made using the adorable file Pugs N Kisses .

My nieces Grandpa is currently in Texas undergoing chemo treatments so, I thought they would enjoy some happy mail. So I created a couple of magnetic photo frames for them to put on their fridge. I made a couple as reference for my nieces to look at, so they know how it will turn out. I did ink their pieces to give it definition and that pop. In the end, both had me help them glue down the pieces, but they did help. They also had fun chalking the cheeks and putting the highlights in the eyes and on the ears. They also went crazy with the glitter pen. And my little niece Brooklyn wanted two hair bows on her doggies ears. I thought it was perfect because she wears pigtails all the time too.

For this project, I popped the puppies up on foam but only put adhesive on the pink frame. That way a photo can slide right under the foam part that is in the brown area.

Below is a complete list of supplies and materials used to complete this project:

Paper Piecing
KaDoodle Bug File: Pugs N Kisses
Cardstock: Core'dinations from JoAnns
Colorbox Chalk Cat's Eyes Ink: Dark Peony, Frost White, Brown, Black and Silver.
& Stampabilities Bubblegum Pink, Dark Pink, Sable, and Light Blue
Stampin up: Pink chalk for the cheeks.
Adhesive: Atg Gun, Zig 2 way glue, foam adhesive, & hot glue.
Stamp Set: TPC Studio-Pet Silhouette for paw print on frame.
Stampin Up: Black and Gold embossing powders.
White Jelly Roll Pen
Wink of Stella: Clear
Foam
Magnets

Below is a picture of the two frames my nieces made. I hope you enjoyed this project today and be sure to check the blog again soon to see other projects by the Design team!!

Enchanting

Good afternoon!
So glad you stopped by. My oh my the Beauty and the Beast movie was enchanting! I'm so glad that I went.
In the days leading up too and a few after the movie I made a 12x12 scrapbook layout.

So Enchanting don't you think?

I used three files to make this layout.
First up is the Beast
Next was Belle
Then I did the Lumière and Cogsworth. However this one has more than just these two with it so be sure to take a look.
I used some glitter and plain cardstock from Anna Griffin as well as some from a Disney Pad I had.

Thank you for stopping in to see it!

Oh Happy Day.....

Good morning KaDoodle Bugs & Happy Wednesday!!  DT Member Jana stopping by today to share a planner spread that I created in my mini HP using the super adorable "Face Expressions" file.

I thought this file was super cute and perfect to add to a planner spread without making the pages seem too bulky.  All of my emoji faces were cut using Bazzill Cardstock on my Cricut Explore Air 2. Each piece was inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and adhered together using Art Glitter Glue.

I had some fun emoji washi tape in my stash, so of course I had to add it as it goes perfectly with the theme. I added a few small planner stickers from ReCollections and am now ready to fill up my week.

Below is a complete list of the supplies used to create this planner spread:

Bazzill Cardstock
Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Scattered Straw, Faded Jeans, Fired Brick
Art Glitter Glue
White Gel Pen
Craft Smith - Emoji Washi Tape
Happy Planner Mini
ReCollections Creative Year Stickers

I hope that you all enjoyed my planner creation for today. Please make sure that you stop back again for more inspiration and ideas from the other talented KBD Team Members. And as always,
Have a Fabulously Crafty Day!!!

Birthday Cupcake Bears Card

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Welcome back to the blog.

DT Hayley stopping by to bring you a card I made for my mum's birthday today!

This adorable little guy is from the Cutie KaToodles - Birthday Cupcake Bears cutting file.

The embossing folder is an 8x8 folder called 'Beautiful Bunting' from the Embossalicious range.

For the name I used Fablon Vinyl in polished gold.
For any crafters in the UK that struggle to get hold of affordable vinyl I can't recommend this product enough, it can be picked up at Hobbycraft and you can get it in an assortment of colours, patterns & finishes. It cuts like a dream on my Cricut and sticks really well on projects & lasts.

Have a Fabulous Day!!

DT ~ Hayley
