On your day...

Hello Doodles, DT Sonja here. Today is administrator Tanya's birthday! There are a few things you need to know about Tanya.

1. She loves her family including her pup, Elsa
2. She has a beautiful smile
3. She cannot be talked to until coffee is running through her system (like most of us!)
4. She LOVES unicorns

Today I bring you a birthday card I made for her using two Kadoodle files.
I started with the Valentine Unicorn.
I decided since it was a birthday card, I would switch the heart out for a cupcake from the Cupcake Cutie file.
My goal was to make the unicorn suspended within the card. Therefore I did a shadowbox card. This card lies down flat for shipping and measures 5x7. I used my Curio to emboss the clouds.
Finally I added a pull tab in the back for the message.

Materials used:
KBD files: Valentine Unicorn and Cupcake Cutie
Cutie KaToodles - Valentine Unicorn
Cupcake Cutie
Coredinations paper
Craftwell eBrush
Sharpie Markers
Silhouette Cameo and Curio
Aleene's original tacky glue
Scotch ATG gun

Fabulous Fall Challenge

Hi KaDoodlebugs!Today is the start of a new Facebook challenge called "Fabulous Fall."  You can create  anything you like as long as it is fall themed, so grab your favorite fall files and get creative!

For my "Fabulous Fall" project I made a 12 inch fall wreath using these adorable files.

I used an 11 1/2 inch tag board ring as the base of my wreath. I cut about thirty 3 to 4 inch leaves enlarged from the files used. This was a good way to use up all my fall colored scraps of paper. The squirrels are about 5 inches tall and each acorn is about 1 1/2 inches. I made the 7 by 3 inch title in design space. I used three, 1 inch pieces of 1/4 inch wide ribbon to make a hangar. This was a fun, easy project.

Thanks for stopping by. I can't wait to see all the great fall projects you all make!

Still Flip-Flop Weather

Well, it's certainly not feeling very fall like this week - temps in the upper 80's and high humidity...  So I'm still feeling the need for a summer card.  Here's a little simple card using the Flip Flop Cutie.  I know I'd certainly love to have my toes in the sand right about now...

You can find this cutie here.

Enjoy your day!!

Feel Better

Morning Doodle Bugs!!

Hope everyone had a fabulous week and are looking forward to the weekend!!  I know I certainly am =)

Today, I want to share this little card with you using the Boo Boo Mice set.  These are such cute files and always seem to be the perfect match to cheer someone up.

I thought it would be a fun touch to add a sentiment to a medical chart as well.

You can grab this cutie here:  Cutie KaToodles ~ Boo Boo Mice
